Dog names

I will soon be having an italian greyhound puppy. The original plan was to have a bitch and her name was going to be Willow. Unfortunatly only there was only 1 bitch in the litter so we are now having a dog pup. He is blue and white.

As you know I recently lost my greyhound William so we wanted a name with a connection to William or his show name Billy the Kid. I do ot want to call him Willie as that was the name that William came to us with.

Can you think of any names with the connection that are suitable for a little dog.

Well according to some reports, Billy the kid's real name was William Henry, but his mum didn't want to call him Junior (presumably his father was called William.

So Henry would seem quite fitting.

But you know Willow can also be a male name as well - just look at the film Willow (the character of which was played by Warwick Davis - a really nice guy who my FIL married (as in undertook the ceremony, not got hitched to him!)) So Warwick would be a possibility as well.

I agree that Willow can be a male name. (Though my Willow is female. ) Wills or Billy-o.

I really like Warwick!
