I know it wasn't a rescue dog that you got Cacoll, but the sentiment fits perfectly, little Marco needed a loving home too xx

That's so lovely! And a bit of peace of mind for me, as I recently gave a little dog a new home and on the 28th this month it'll be exactly once year since Lasqa left us. And I think these would have been her words if she could speak...

Certainly touched my heart there

When Zena decides to leave us, I'm going to start adopting the oldies. I won't be able to walk like I walk now (cos I'll be old too), so an oldie who just wants to share our life and be spoiled rotten and not drag me around the countryside in their sunset years, will be just the job for both of us. How lovely to have a reminder of what we should be doing.

What a lovely thing - it brought tears to my eyes.

H old bean - beware of thinking that adopting an oldie will make for an easier life. Just look at the Jimster
