[quote=dori-katie;1313686]so sorry to hear this, how horrible for you.
Have they ruled out arthritis?
My sister has arthritis and all over her body but her knee seem to be the worse she is in pain all the time she has had all sorts of pain killers and is know on an injection to try and help (I think it is more for the arthritis than the pain)
I cant remember what its called but one of her pain killers makes her sick and one of the other ones makes her out of it she cant move and doesnt really know whats going on

I hope they can do something for you on Monday.

A simple blood test will rule out arthritis, I'm 36 and was diagnosed before christmas, and had gone through 3 mri's and spinal block before they thought of doing a blood test to see if the rhumatiod factor was up, I hope they sort you out hun very soon as there is nothing more destressing than pain.xxxxxxxxxx((((((((hugs)))))))))

thanks guys always nice to get your messages, they have ruled out arthritis which is why they have no idea what it is now, they are looking at it might be nerve damage but can't see how that would be doing all this as my knees make crunching and gridding noises and just give out if i walk to far, will have to wait and see i guess. I am hoping it gets sorted out soon as i really can't take any more they are talking about getting me a wheel chair as well i am feeling so old but am only 34yr next month. Thanks again guys it means alot to hear from you all. xx

so sorry you are having a rough time maybe this may be of help?

my mum has suffered with her knees for years - she had a knee replacement which didnt help and even brought another type of pain into the equation! she too was on those morphine patches and they are a curse! they changed her personality and didnt even do that much to help her pain. She is now on very strong painkillers (df one one eight) which are so strong she can only get a months script at a time. They have helped which is what shes been looking for all these years.

She also sees a pain specialist who did one of those pain blocking injections in the spine. She got temporary relief (about 3 weeks) in which she was so different it was a shock! She said having no pain was the most incredible feeling in the world! she is back in on Tuesday to have a stronger injection to see if she gets longer relief so fingers crossed

Although the pain injections are not permanent you can have as many as you need therefore giving you a quality of life you deserve. I hope you get some much needed help, feeling this low and in such pain at only 33 years old is so unfair - thinking of you xxx

Oh Sam, I had no idea about your ailments, so sorry to hear you are in such pain and so young too

Life doesn't seem fair at times, I really feel for you it must be awful to be constantly in pain. I wish I could take it away from you

I do hope they get the meds sorted, no human should feel this way on a daily basis. I hope the pain block on the 14th works for you.

Wishing you all the best pet, huge hugs xxxxx
