Awww so glad that Roxy has come through surgery and that the tumour has been removed with good margins, that's excellent news! Good luck with the keeping quiet...always the hardest part! Fingers crossed that Roxy can come home tomorrow.

That's good news & everything crossed that the tests are negative. No doubt she will have all the staff wrapped around her paws

Thanks for the update (Post 98 ) you must be so relieved that all went well.

I know we would like to think they would go in looking back with a tear in their eye but of course dear Roxy didn't know what was comming, didn't know about hospital fatalities, all she knew was this nice young man wanted to take her for a walk and maybe there would be a treat at the end what is that saying 'ignorance is bliss'

Wishing you all the best with that lampshade collar thingy, neither of ours liked them

Glad she's come through well

I'm having a very similar op myself, I have a rodent ulcer on my scalp which is going to be taken off with a good margin of skin round it then they will use a graft from my thigh to replace the skin.

Hope mine goes as well as Roxy's has

Oh good grief, Anne. When will you be having that? After Crufts, presumably?! I really hope your op goes really well and you recover quickly. Take care and all the best to you.

Great news. So pleased for you.

If you want some good ideas for stuff to keep her occupied without using her leg, search the various cruciate threads on here.

Thanks.

Good idea, I will do that!

Aleady got plenty of Kong things and various fillings, but I think I will need more than that for a while.
