Good news - Roxy's blood results are completely normal!

However, she's demented with the shaving rash and her baldy tum, so my own vet has left me some Fuciderm gel which I'll pick up today. Hopefully that will really help, been using aloe vera gel which I found, but she's still going mad with it and we want her as comfortable as possible before her op tomorrow.

Thanks again, everyone. xx

Fingers, paws and tails crossed for your darling Roxy tomorrow.

Test results all good. She is well enough to cope with the surgery and post op. Shows how well she is looked after.

Sending all good strong positive vibes for your baby, with love and hugs (for the both of you) from Me, Molly n Mindy x x

Wonderful news about her labs! Praying for her op! Hope she gets some relief from the itchyness. I've found its usually worse the first 24 hours, after that it isn't so bad.

She was still uncomfortable this morning underneath, so I put more cream on her which helped again.

She went off quite happily this morning in to the vet school, she didn't even look back!

Haven't heard anything yet, but they will phone me later to let me know how things went/are going.

Update.

Roxy is through surgery fine!

The surgeon said she has managed to remove it with good margins and have stretched a flap of skin from her upper leg to cover the defect left by the tumour removal.

They've also removed the nearest lymph nodes which will be sent for testing as well, just to be sure nothing nasty has appeared there.

She has got a compression bandage on at the moment and will be checked tomorrow, mid morning. So, all going well, we will be getting her home tomorrow afternoon.

It was an male, Irish intern she went away with this morning, she never even looked back when my granpa said that he would see her later, she led the way, tail wagging, with him! The b*gger. They said she's a very sweet little dog and the Irish guy is her new best pal.

Absolutely NO idea what she'll be like with a cone on as she's never had one on with us before but, knowing Roxy, it will be a very dramatic affair!
