20 Jan 2013 Clicker Training Paddy Driscoll Lincs £45
Clicker Training Made Simple a training day with Paddy Driscoll
Clicker training is probably the easiest, the most fun, the most straightforward and the most effective way to train a dog! This day will cover the principles of clicker training, its practical application and how to make training both fun and effective. Handlers will work with their dogs; spectators will get the opportunity to see it at work.
Paddy was one of the first people to use clicker training in this country, having been the first British trainer to attend a Karen Pryor and Gary Wilkes 'Don't Shoot the Dog' weekend in the USA. She presented the very first clicker workshops to be run in the UK in the 1990s, and since then, in addition to using it in her pet dog training classes, not to mention teaching numerous tricks to numerous dogs, she has succesfully made up a show champion, won in agility and trained a dog to 'C' only (in obedience) using it. This is the first workshop she has run for a number of years, so don't miss the opportunity to learn from a pioneer of the craft!
