Aw bless him Phil. He does look a picture of contentment in front of his cosy fire there. When his time does come it will be after having had a wonderful life but I hope this is just an off day and he gets to spend many more nights enjoying the warmth of the fire.

Hi Phil,As long as he is still interested in eating and going out for a walk, you could try a tonic for dogs, also older dogs like warmth and my oldies didnt like to go out in the cold, one of my oldies wouldnt even go on grass when it was cold, and like a fool looking for somewhere for her highness to go,in the end after a few accidents made up a cat litter tray with dog training pads, and that seemed to help,So please dont worry,if it was anything you would know, believe me,I have stayed up with my oldies especially my 16 yr old Afghan, because there is a certain look they give and you know you just need to be with them 24/7.So he is just probably feeling the cold Gemini54

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Skye's still a bit slow today although he's been out and about in the garden without any drama - giving a friendly bark and getting a fuss from the neighbour.

A quiet day today and we'll see how he goes before deciding whether to take him to the vet later.

Ahh, sometimes old dogs have "down" days. My old dog had them years before he got sick. I hope old dude is just fine, I think he is!

Bless him, little old stick My old girl used to give me scares all the time, I started to think she just liked days of being fussed over

Hope he is back to normal soon
