More nice things to say about nettles:
They make good soup
Lots of wildlife depend on them
If you get stung often enough you barely notice it.

But I can't think of any more?

BTW anyone have a dog that won't walk through them?

im pretty much immune to the sting

i also make nettle tea and soup

and i have made my own nettle hair conditioner

I got loads in mine too. Not because I cant garden but Im fed up of trying to kill them with weed killer and pulling them up only for them to return a few weeks later. I just run over them with the lawn mower every now and then

mabel won't, if her ball goes into them she'll whine until you go and fetch it. trip doesn't care wether it's nettles, brambles or barbed wire, she'll just motors through them while you wince
