Oh dear

You do right deciding to go to A&E - also try and find out if you have any history of vascular problems or DVT in the family.

Really kick up a fuss hun, I have a life threatening condition that has become serious several times and I still have to kick up a fuss if I want something done!!

Thank you everyone for the advice

i have been to the minor injuries unit and they dont think it is DVT they said it seems i may have done damage to my knee and they think it could be osteoarthritis
they are writing to the doctor to refer me

they gave me a/i and told me to rest it

i really hope i get to go to my concert on saturday

I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right knee. I take a/i if it flares up and glucosamine to try and stop it from worsening. I also saw a physio who gave me strengthening exercises to do.Keep it elevated and use hot and cold packs to try and bring the swelling down. I hope you make it to your concert.

really hope it feels better soon hun, if you go on sat wear a support, and if you can take an ice pack with you. I do this with my knee prob's and it does help if stood still i also have tramodal tabs plus others but mine is diffrent. I hope if you can rest till then it might not be as bad. hugs to you hun as i know how it feels big time. xxxxxx

I do hope it feels better for you hun,

If you weren't so far away I'd offer for you to borrow my 'shooting stick' but instead I'll have to just recommend one! It's a walking stick but the handle turns into a seat, you're pretty much the same height as when standing but there's only one leg because it's actually a stick with a seat on so you need to steady it, but if you've only got the one bad knee, then you should be able to steady yourself with your other leg.

I know it's not much good, but hopefully that helps - if you can find one it may be useful xx
