Chloe - that's really sad & I'm very sorry.

But a little reassurance for you & Phoebe, just remember that hundreds of bitches get spayed all the time & it is extremely rare for a bitch to die post spay. Yes it happens, but so do lots of other traumas.
What I'm trying to say is, the chances of this happening to any bitch are extremely slight & your friend has been very unlucky.
Please pass on our thoughts to them.
