Jarhead DVD - anyone seen it?

What did you think?

I thought it was pretty good, after seeing the deleted scenes though felt it would have been much better had they included a lot of them (movie house chickening out!!)

I've seen the film but not the extras. What did they not show?
I liked it. I thought it was quite different from a lot of war movies because it didn't just rely on the special effects and shock tactics of the combat part.

There was a lot more about how the main character really felt, I thought his real feelings were a tad muted in the final cute - do you have the dvd? The deleted scenes are worth watching

I've seen it, although I think Baz enjoyed it more than me. The details of it are a little hazy, so it's possible I fell asleep - this is not uncommon for me

i thought it was great... we see this at the cinema, along with my then 15 year old son... felt a bit squirmy in places

No I just rented it
I never usually watch the extras because they ruin the film a bit for me!

I havent seenit yet but i did see clips of it in the cinema before it was released and i thought it looked good, so maybe i should rent it out
