I had to laugh.....

It's a beautiful day here today so the OH has gone to work on his motorbike.
He's just phoned me to say it's not gone well.
I am filled with dread until he tells me whats happened.
When he got to work he's realised that his backpack has unzipped as he's been travelling.
Last night I made him a lovely packed lunch and this morning he pinched a couple of pints of milk and put them both into his bag.

They're not in there anymore!

I have to travel the same bit of road in a bit, so I'll keep my eyes open for two ham and mustard rolls, two slices of choc chip madiera cake, a packet of wotsits and a half-full 4 pint carton of milk.

.... and to think he'd been laughing this week at his mate who had his bike stolen. He'd been looking for it for a week and moaning about the scumbags who had stolen it.
OH and his mates had been having to give him lifts home everyday etc.

Until someone noticed a bike in the bike shed.
It was his mates, the stlen one. He'd forgotten someone had given him a lift home in that wind last week and he'd left his bike behind.
Lmao.

Sometimes my OH and his mates make me feel quite sane!

So funny, I love the idea of you having to search the road for the escaping lunch

Update..... I traced his route to work and saw the empty bottom of his lunchbox on the hard shoulder. It was a new lunchbox as well!
.... then coming back down the other side of the dual carriageway I saw the milk!... which was on the other side of the central reservation, so obviously crash barriers are not good for Cravendale milk bottles!

Oh I'm in tears visualising The Great Escape.
Did the cravendale cows want their milk back?
