Just wanted to share really ...

The first time we gave Loki a bone (approx a couple of months ago) he stood over it and growled when I came near. But I insisted on being near and stroked him anyway.

Now he carries on eating when I approach, tail wagging, and even brings it to me.

So proud.

awwww-well done!

Abe was terrible where bones were concerned.I had to shout at him before attempting to take a bone away from him because otherwise he would bear his teeth.

Havent a clue what Vegas is like though due to him loosing the damn thing...

It is not wise to give cooked bones of any kind. They splinter and the splinters can cause serious internal damage.

aww lucky star i would be so proud too!!

i think its important to be able to take food and bones away from dogs while they are eating as it shows a huge amount of trust between you and your doggie.

well done to you and loki x x x x
