How do i change my settings

Hi, son has done something to his laptop this morning and everything on the screen is twice as big as it normally is.

I am writing this post and it takes up the whole screen

Can anyone help, as i haven't got a clue how to change it back. thanks

on the right hand side of the screen at the bottom you'll see a magnifing glass with 100% near it click on the pull down to change it

I've just mastered it - thanks

Went into my control panel thing and my hubby talked me through it as he just rang.

Everything looks normal again now.

For future reference:

go to a blank area of the desktop (screen!)
RIGHT click it - you'll get a menu
select PROPERTIES
click the SETTINGS tab at the top
click on the SCREEN RESOLUTION slider & move it to the right (towards "more")
click APPLY
Click OK

Job's a good 'un!!

thats a good one, but even quicker:

hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard and then use the scroll button in the middle of your mouse, up for bigger down for smaller.

Another quick one for text only. Go to "VIEW" at the top of the screen next to favorites and click on text size.
