I have a Quaker Parakeet and he barks as well, we also taught him to say 'thank you' when he has a treat when he's in his cage, now he hangs on the side of the cage shouting 'thank you' to us and whenever Christopher (and only Christopher) enter the room he calles out 'hello' untill Chris goes over and give him a treat

Sky says hello to anyone who walks through the door, thank you is now and then, usually with sunflower seeds.
