Horrible dog "trainer"

Saw this elsewhere. Very annoying video. Room full of crying scared dogs and a beast of an instructor using a prong collar so roughly on a 5 month old Lab that the dog is yelping.

Garbage dominance based training at its finest. This is animal cruelty, yet he is a certified trainer and allowed to teach people to do this. Something is very wrong with that to me. Very, very wrong.

This needs to stop and I admit that it saddens me that I have absolutely no power to do anything.

I guess if I had a dog strong enough to break my arm or so big I couldn't contain them then...no even then I wouldn't use a pronged collar. I think there are far better ways of training than inducing pain or fear. I have to admit I felt sorry for the first trainer who got Sophie. It was maybe a year after we got her and a class of smaller pups. Soph whined and barked so loudly she disrupted everything. The trainer finally went nose to nose with her as she cowered under my chair and yelled "SHUT UP"...and actually it worked and Soph stayed under my chair the rest of the session. Of course I and the trainer both knew she wasn't coming back.

Thank goodness my daughter who now lives in usa learnt from me how to correct a dog kindly and now helps others do the same. He is obvioudly a bully and loves his own voice. Poor dog never had time to be taught kindly he just went into bully mode. Typical cm thing in my opinion. If you are worried by this then report him to the animal cruelty people that you have over there. And tell others not to go to him. Show them how to do things kindly.

There are cases for a lot of debates as to different collars.

Neither the own or the trainer make one in this video.
Crap video as the owner gave the dog 10 to 15ft of free leash so there is next to no way to give instruction or begin to with a untrained dog.

Clearly the dog was fearful of the instructor, after he jerked the dog repeatedly at the styart.
Someone needs to enlighten him, tail wagging does not need happy, and in the case it was fear.

About the only thing he is going to end up teaching the dogs is fear aggression.

Yes, he failed big time. I can hardly believe that this dude is allowed to call himself a trainer.
