Absolutely beautiful Helena.
The photo of Zena scrabbling in her pool is so like Poppy!
Pleased you've had such a lovely day.

What a lovely walk and Zena looking beautiful as ever.
Reminded me of the woods back where we lived and the meadow minus the horses.

thanks FL, you can't keep this dog out of water, except if it's raining, she doesn't like that kind of water LOL

Thanks Lynn, it's 240 acres in all, takes an hour to do the whole way around it, but of course, probably like your old woods, I can take many different routes to make it more interesting each day, or less tiring for me! It's a nature reserve, that's why they leave fallen trees fallen and lots of the big meadows are never cut, but they do mow a path for us dog walkers sometimes. It has its own website, St Helens Wood, lots of lovely pictures on that.

Off too take a look. Where we were it wasn't as big as that but we had paths mown then the meadow was left in the middle some years cut others not. The woods were like yours a few different routes you could take. Not so good in the winter though very wet and muddy best avoided.

Oh my, you are so lucky to have all that beautiful countryside right on your doorstep. We have some lovely spaces round here, but we have to go in the car to them. It must be wonderful to just step out of the door and off you go. Zena looks as gorgeous as ever. I really miss having a dog, but am not ready to put another in Gelly's space yet.......one day.
