Belle's 1st Show

She was a little super star She got best baby puppy in breed. She showed her little socks off and got a lovely critique from the judge so I am very pleased.
Kwame didn't do so well (3rd out of 3) as he was feeling the heat a bit which was very noticable on the move which isn't really like him.It was 2pm before we were in the ring so the hottest part of the day unfortunatly. Belle loves the heat unlike Kwame who would rather be in the shade.

Aw good girl Belle, a star in the making! Poor Kwame, pray for rain next time!

I never thought I would here myself asking for it to be cooler but I wished it had been today Yes rain next time would be good as he doesn't seem to mind the rain, which kind of makes him a bit strange for a Basenji. Hey ho you win some and you loose some

I didn't get a chance at the show today like planned as I was asked to be the critique writer for the other breeds as the lady that was doing it wasn't a doggy person so wasn't familiar with doggy terms (the judge was AUS) and nobody else there had good enough written English. It gave me good practice though as my mum is coming across here next year to judge the club show and I have been asked to do her critiques by the club so I now know what to do
I will take my camera to the dog socialisation classes tomorrow and get some pics of her there
