The boys first show!

A quick 30min drive and we got to Melton Mowbray & District show yesterday. Entered AVNSC Working PG

Got 2ND!!!! (out of 2! ) Judge was really helpful trying to help me to get the monkey to trot instead of pace!

then 2 stakes classes, AV Yearling and AV Special beginner. Not placed in either but he did a fab trot in the final one and I was very pleased with my young man!!

Wanted to try a dobe class before the East of England and there are 2 on the same day and I need some advice (as per usual!!).

I can enter either of the following (bearing in mind relatively zero experience!) on the 12th Jul

1. Open Dog at Tamworth & District Open show at Coventry (1hr & 20 drive)

2. Yearling Dog at the National Working & Pastoral Champ show at Malvern (2hr drive)

What do we all think? Or should I not and just focus on Eof E on the 17th Jul??

It may be best to enter a breed class even if you have to go further to find one, you are more likly to get help from exhibitors of your own breed.
