Microchip details question

My new girl Darcey has come with a vaccination card with a sticker that says her microchip number on it.

I've gone on to petlog a couple of times now to see if I can check and change her details (as it says I can do it online) but it's not recognising her microchip number or pet id, am I being stupid and looking at the wrong thing?

There is more than one database out there. Try this one.

http://www.identichip.co.uk/

Failing that google microchip databases.

Or may be the person who had her chipped didn't bother to register their details.

I had the same problem with Tucson my Pug in the end I phoned them and they did it while I was on the phone, they claimed it was a computer glitch but that was ages ago so they should have fixed it by now.

It's probably an Irish chip. I had the same problems with Rue's chip, in fact that's when we realised she must have come over from Ireland. I think you can check from the first few digits of the chip number.

She was chipped in UK in Jan this year. I'll phone up the company on Monday and see if I can sort it out.
