Hello everyone

I've finally had a chance to come on here and thank you all - Geri, thank you so much for taking the pressure off me by keeping everyone updated, you're a true, good friend xx

Well, yes. It seems there is a little 6 week old heart thumping away inside me. It's very early days so I'm not getting too excited, but I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it was to go for a scan with every expectations that they would find nothing, only to be told that I was looking at the strong, healthy heartbeat of my baby! I screamed the place down with joy.

It's not uncommon to bleed during early pregnancy and there was nothing they could do until it was old enough to see a heartbeat, so I don't blame them for telling me to expect the worst. I don't care about much right now to be honest, as long as my baby bird keeps pumping away!

Thank you all so much for the support on all fronts. I cannot tell you how touched I was to receive so many well wishes!

Now, keep everything crossed for us xx

What great news, read the first few posts and was going to post a little message to say stay strong etc. and then found people were congratulating you! a similar thing happened to me years ago and I went on to have Emma my eldest daughter with no further probs. Just take it easy for now maybe. Love to both of you, er.... I mean all 3 of you.x

Karen's kept me posted - she was beaming when she filled me and I had to hold back posting anything on here.

Look after yourself - I'm sure Karen will keep me updated and hopefully we can call you podge instead of pidge soon

Take care XX
