Thanks all. I have phoned the vets and notified the local cats protection incase he shows up there. I could check with the council indeed. No sign and I've not heard of anyone seeing him either which could be good or bad...! Who knows

Still no sign, that's over 10 days now. I've got an announcement going out on the local radio station tomorrow morning. A lot of people listen to it so if anyone has seen him hopefully they'll hear it and get in touch. I have however, put our name on the local cats protection list for a kitten. I don't want to 'replace' Hunter and I still REALLY hope he comes home, in which case I'll remove our names from the list. I'll give him a good while yet to come home though before we seriously think about getting a kitten. I miss him! He's a gorgeous boy and so good.

And as a kitten

He was a lovely cute kitten and he's grown into a really handsome lad. I hope he turns up safe and well.

Well I'm afraid it's bad news My husband found Hunter in the field very near our house. He was dead but Kenneth didn't think he'd been there for too long. No obvious cause for him to die so I guess we'll never know. He is now buried in our garden and we've planted a tree over him. Run free pusso. x

I'm so sorry, I wish it had turned out different. I hope you can gain some comfort knowing that he is now home where he belongs x
