Many police dogs are kennelled (not all).

Many gundogs are kennelled (not all)

Many competition dogs of all persuasions are kennelled (not all) it does not necessarily lessen the bond they have with their owners.

Just watch any sheepdog trial, or any shepherd at work on the hills and you will see an incredible bond.

a WSD has a much closer and deeper bond with its owner than a pet dog, IMO much much closer indead

Well this could be because actually what you're saying is reasonable and nobody has anything to say strongly against it...its mainly the strongly biased posts that get the responses. You've said you don't like chaining because you don't like the risks involved. I respect that, so nothing really to argue about

well thats been entertaining, lets see how many pages its run to when i get up in the morning night night all,

oh and outside dogs, don't have a problem with that and anyway as long as proper care has been taken to ensure its safe

I didn't say being poor meant you can't look after a dog, but Julie mentioned her dog had problems and she couldn't afford to try a different diet.
I believe you get what you put into a dog and a good diet for the dog should be part and parcel of being a dog owner.
