Need help ASAP Please

Hi all,
Does anyone know the cat breeders Shalapaws? if so can you tell us why they have stopped breeding?
The reason i ask is cos me and steve are thinking of buying a farm in lincolnshire, we did a search on the farm name and it came up with a cat breeders website, but this is what the website have put :-

***The Club wish to make it clear that with effect from the 15th October 2005, they no longer have any association or connection with Shalapaws previously listed on the Breeders List.***

But after reading this me and steve are abit worried as we dont want to buy a house that something bad has happened in.

ive heard the name along the yonder, but for the life of me cant remember where, i have a niggling feeling me tellling me it was to do with something very bad, but could be wrong, will have a snoopsie on some cat forums for ya Steph......

Hi, Thanks mini and Luke.
We havent put a bid on the house for lots of reasons, The 3rd bedroom had all cages in it were cats were kepts and the house smelt of cat wee even tho there was no carpets and no windows.
We found out more info too so with everything else we decided not to bother.
