Afternoon everyone.
Hoping bad backs are recovering and sorry to of read the bathroom is giving so much grief griff.

Raining here but we have done some work in the garden. Car back it was the main fuse if it keeps blowing the wiring will need checking so hoping it won't happen while I have it.
Main dealers so negative and a list of amber problems and a couple of red ones. It is going in for its mot as soon as possible it undoubtedly will need some jobs doing according to the main dealers list. Will get them done and selling it then using the money from that and then from the peugeot and buy a newer estate. Peugeot or volvo.
In total it cost £110 so a lot less than I was fearing. Still not had the bill for the low loader to the main dealer from the local garage. Guess when we book it in for its mot it will jog their memory.
Been feeling extremely low so my reason for not coming on will pop in and out but still feeling very down.

Hoping everyone under the weather two and four legged friends recover soon and that bathrooms and your car Moyra get fixed soon.

Good day everyone - weather here is identical to June's it's a right pic n' mix sort of day. We've been lucky with the walks as I've missed the worst of it and so the dogs have remained mostly dry (all apart from Danger Curls who is so short she gets soaked just walking through the grass) she doesn't mind though as that means she gets extra drying with a fluffy towel - which she loves. I then have to towel the others heads - not because they are wet - they just really love it!
Must be MOT season as our 4wd goes in to the garage on tuesday for her annual one. The Mem deals with that - I haven't got an idea of what goes on down there. Not my area of specialist responsibility! lol !
Not long now Griff - you may be finished by late October! With a bit of luck!
Then perhaps you'll set your eyes on another project for yourself and Father - or perhaps not! Tee-Hee! Pay no heed to June that light at the end of the tunnel is definitely the 16:30 hrs express to Birmingham! lol !
Hope everyone is having a good day - back later, bye fer now.

Yes they do, our two push one another out of the way just to have me put a towel around their heads

It just started raining here, heavy with thunder as well. It's the only weather they don't like.

On our walk today I was in front of them and nearly stood on a rabbit, he dived off into the hedgerow, when they arrived at the spot there was a lot of sniffing but neither went chasing, my wife said it just shows how well fed they are

I might have to invest in a pair of wellies. Current boots have been repaired with the 'hot glue' method but (as Griff has discovered) that doesn't last long, the sole is starting to disintigrate to the point where water can get in, I try to ignore it but don't like wet socks when I get home from walking the dogs

Evening all -
Hope things pick up for you Lynn, not good to know that one of the regulars is feeling a bit down. Hope Dillon is still in good form and at least keeping you amused.
Griff - bet you just can't wait to crack on with the rest of the house - rather you than me. I can't abide DIY - there is something about it that leaves me cold. Don't mind building a poultry house or pigeon loft or some such useful thing but the very thought of picking up a tin of emulsion or roll of walpaper fills me with dread. I'd sooner pay someone who knows what they're doing (as I definitely don't).
Take it that by now Brenda will be "incommunicado" - perchance after a passing encounter with a case of New World Merlot or some such! Hope you don't have a hangover tomorrow.
For those following the tale of my corn-store robin, number of robins now living in the corn store is 6. He aquired a mate a couple of months ago and they have been very busy for ages flying to and from a corner of the top shelf, where upon inspection this evening there are 4 delightful babies, almost fully fledged, don't doubt they'll take to the air very soon. They have nested in an old Quality Street tin that is half full of roofing nails. There is something about robins, no matter when I see one, I can't help but smile. Hope they flutter off and find their own accomodation as soon as they are old enough or my mealworm bill will be higher than ever.
Seems quite quiet on here this evening, so I'll wish everyone a good night and see you all tomorrow, bye fer now.

Seems things have livened up since my posting - Good evening Harvey sorry to hear of the demise of your boots, that soggy feet job is not recommended.
Griff - what's all this about "well done for leaving the bunny!"
That would get my lot the sack! lol !
