Oscar's pm results

my son and girlfriend went to the hospital today to see the consultant for the results for the pm they did on Oscar. there was no known cause for his death. they said if and when she gets pregnant again they will monitor her closely and she will not be allowed to go overdue. they did say that the chances are if she had been seen and induced earlier Oscar would still be alive today.

thanks for reading

It is so very hard when a family loses a baby like this. there is so much "what if" and "if only....."

I can only send some hugs . Time numbs it slightly but never takes away all those thoughts of lost promises and what might have been.

so very true. still so painful at the moment for me in two ways. want to protect son and make it better for him and then all my own grief and pain.

thanks for the hugs

So sorry for you all Sue, but you are right to say it wasn't meant "at this moment". Fudgeley is aldo right there are lots of what ifs...I have no words to ease the pain but hopefully with time it will lessen.

its such a dreadful loss, made worse by the fact that there is no real reason for it.

so sad for you.
take care
xx

I hope that your son and daughter in law can look forward to another child in the future when they are ready.
