Elli 1994 - 2008

On Wednesday last I had to say goodbye to my companion Elli, the decision was taken to end further suffering.



She was the first dog I bought in with the idea of showing properly, and she did me proud, she travelled the country with me, staying in hotels and never letting me down.

She got off to a flying start and is photographed here after winning Best Puppy at the Breed club show



although she continued her winning ways she never hit to very top being a centimetre below hight and was shown when the trend was for the taller dogs.

She and I really enjoyed our time learning the showing ropes and the nice people we met and, yes, the rosettes we collected, she never once failed to qualify for Crufts during her entire showing career although she never quite managed a stud book number.

To me she was a perfect companion and we and the boys will miss her forever.
