Oh no - it really shakes you up when these things happen.

I hope you feel better soon and Poppy recovers quickly .

Yea we have always let them out there because it is at the back of our bungalow. Will have to watch out in future. Last night she was playing lovely with a Old English Sheepdog, two bloodhounds, 1 Jack Russell and a English Bull terrier....no problems at all I just can't get my head round it, it was totally random. Poor Ben just ambled over to see what all the fuss was about, he was so concerned you could see it in his face...bless him, he is licking her sore leg.

Yea Lorna, calming down a bit now, The more I think about it the more angry I get. I know Poppy can be a cow, in the nicest sense of course, but that Staffy was on her in a flash.

Yea Tracey, I know, she has lots of friends, but I wonder what she would be like without Ben and the ball As long as she has something to focus on she is fine, On the lead is another matter

So sorry about your dog, I know what it's like to see a Staffy with it's teeth locked on your dog.

I have a definite policy now, as soon as I see a Staffy mine are put on the lead.

All very well saying it's deed not breed, some breeds are responsible for too many deeds.
