Good morning everyone !

Morning all,

Back to work today for me, but at least it’s only nine working days until I get another break. Yes, folks, I have a whole week off prior to Christmas. Jackie and I will be swanning off all over the place doing our Christmas shopping, and generally wasting our money on tinsel and sparkly cheap cr*p – it’s the only time of year I buy total garbage, the rest of the year it’s only partial rubbish

Have quite a busy day today – three interviews to do as we have a temporary Field Tech vacancy to fill, and the candidates so far have been totally unsuitable. Hopefully, I won’t feel like murdering someone by lunchtime……. don’t bank on it, though

Today’s gem:
I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.
When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?" Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response, knowing he would have a good one, and in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response.
"Got drunk once and f*cked a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."

Morning Vicki, morning all. Your day sounds like mine Vicki. We're interviewing contractors to fill the gap til they replace myself and my colleague permanently. If I didn't do it, they'd still be without anyone when we're goneCan't wait to see what they send us today

hope todays interviews prove to be a bit better
just put some lamb chops,carrots and onions in the slow cookerfor tommorrow (much better cooked the day before) and tommorrow i will make crispy dumplings yummy.
Loved todays gem,how much longer do i have to wait for it to get light enough to go up the forest!!!!!!!!
