Am so sorry for you. xx

As has been said; at least for Tess it was an 'easy passing' in that she didn't deteriorate and have to struggle at all. But what a horrible, horrible shock for you.

I don't know what caused Tess to deteriorate so suddenly. She was obviously in heart failure when I found her this morning. After her passing she expelled some blood in her faeces and the vet said that was not usual and indicated some gastric problem. Possibly a tumour?

He offered a post mortem but I didn't see the point. She was nearly 13 and it would not help her or us to know. All I know is she was her normal cheeky self rolling in the grass yesterday afternoon on her walk trotting along happily and felt well enough to eat last night but obviously then felt ill.

It is a shock and is only just starting to sink in.
So sorry for your loss. At least she didn't suffer for a long while (much more of a shock for you, but better for her). Think of the happy times you had with her x

I'm sorry to hear this. Must be a terrible shock when it wasn't expected & Tess hadn't shown signs of being seriously ill. Just awful! Please take comfort in that we all are thinking of you & the family x x x

I too lost our gorgeous Megan on the 24/9/12, she became unwell on the Thursday & she ran to the rainbow bridge on the Monday & I knew it was her time to go & not let her suffer.
