Can anyone give a 10 year old Great Dane male a loving home. It may be short or it may be long.

Had said we would take him but OH has had second thoughts

Just waiting to hear back now, can't believe that people could do that to an old dog.

Their excuse is that they want to go back to work full time. The woman is now having seconds thoughts and I have said there is a life long home waiting for him here whenever she changes her mind. Perhaps it was a spur of the moment thing and now it has sunk in they will decide to keep him after all and old Dane spends most of it's time asleep anyway, in fact all mine do even the young ones once they had had walks.

Nothing surprises me anymore. The amount of excuses I hear as to why people are no longer want their pets . Sometimes I could quite happily strangle them

I hope that this woman changes her mind, if she doesn't, at least he'll be able to live out the rest of his days with you

I know how you feel Wolfie, but being a Dane he is on borrowed time now anyway. We will happily take him in but the move at his age could kill him.
