Great Dane found dead

The body of a Great Dane with cropped ears has been found on Exmouth Beach, Devon. If anyone can help in identifying this dog or wants more details please telephone our petsearcher in that area - Sheila on 01271 879221.

O that is sad, guess it must be imported with cropped ears? I wonder if it came off a boat? Poor thing

Someone must know who owned the poor thing if it had cropped ears perhaps it had an accident or escaped. I have friends in Devon I will mail her and see if she knows anything.

Perhaps the vets may know? you don't see cropped Danes every day do you..there again it need not necessarily be local and could have been dumped.
