I actually think in principle this is a good idea being an enviromentalist, but as a typical i dont think the tories think it through, maybe they should try education instead of getting peoples backs up!

i completely agrre with it except scrapping GDP for a hapiness scale...bol***ks!

i have always said, why dont they make standby funtion illegal !!!

and it can only be good to ban hiigh energy appliances, beleive me we wouldnt be without these items for long, the suppliers would just pull their sock s up and manufacture more energy efficient items!!

Lol, too funny

I can't put my plasma etc on standby as it's blooming big and in front of the switch on the wall. I'm not putting my back out shifting that!

You'll be asking me to recycle next My friend does that, carefully washing her empty jars and bottles in the dishwasher and driving them on a special run to the bottle bank, I kid you not.
