We want people to be able to post logo and design contests, things of that nature, where the contest holder is offering their prize in exchange for the finished product, namely the winning logo or design. That is what that statement is targeted at.

We do everything we can to protect creative property, and do not share any image/video/sound files with any outside parties, except for the winning files with the contest holder. These are uploaded by the entrant after notification that they have won. All other files will have a watermark placed on them, and are not able to be directly downloaded or saved from our website.

Contesty itself will only use submissions for promoting contests, such as announcing winners on social media or through email, and credit will be given to the file creator.

By entering a contest on our site, you are allowing the contest holder to use your image if you win, because they are giving you the prize in exchange for your creative effort.

I hope this clarifies what we were going for a bit. We are still very new, and learning everyday, so thank you so much for the feedback!
