A very disturbing article about an organisation we all trust.

Dare I say it is also a strange first post from a new member. No introduction or hello, just straight in.

Yes, I don't like that. There's definately a hidden agenda going on here.

I'm horrified to find out that someone was put in this situation, and it is not uncommon. Especially after their behaviourist had already warned them that the dog was dangerous. I really think it would have been better all round for the poor boy to be pts in the circumstances, the thought of him being rehomed to an unsuspecting family and an even worse scenario occurring is the stuff of nightmares

Gist of the article - Right!
Dogs Trust have lots of money and a no destruction policy.
Seems they have p poor staff training.
Dog eats untrained member of staff and is promptly killed.
Untrained staff told to keep shtum or they will get the employment version of what happened to the dog.
Well you did ask!

I have read the article and it doesn't say that the dog ate the person just badly attacked. It does though make worrying reading. I have been to our local dogs trust many tmes to help out and they have always been very open minded on what is done. Especially with pbt's when they were first taken off the streets. I suspect someone is trying to dish some dirt like people do with the RSPCA and other rescues that get bad press.

Nippy - You are of course correct. Sadly my humour is not everybody's cup of tea. Perhaps Brenda's ears have been giving her another bad night - I hope not though and that all she needs is a homeopathic sense of humour by-pass. lol !
