There are different classes
- One for Road - on horseback
and One for Carriage - in which case you dont have to ride you are Groom and basically shout commands from next to the Driver to your dog.
Oviously horseback the dog has to keep a safe distance from hooves, whereas carriage the dog has to keep a safe distance from wheels too
Quite simalar though - just personal preference - or if you have a horse to ride or not (or can ride or not)
You start at Bronze and work your way up. - on both.
Each has a obedience element as well as distance with things like willingness to work being marked, as well as your vet score.
If theres a tie on pionts it will go off the best vet score.
This year there is a seperate classification for other breeds too & only a pedigree dally can be "crowned" champion
