I would have to now elevate Frenchies to No 1 on our list now.

Both Sid and I always thought of ourselves as Big Dog owners, but since owning Lola - she has us converted!!!

I honestly can see us owning nothing larger than a Staffie in the future -------- and the no 1 priority being Frenchies Staffs are a very close contender though, as we have always BOTH loved Staffs

1. Border collies (working or agility lines, no show dogs!). I love their quirky personalities, their quickness, their intelligence, their work ethic. I want an agility dog and this is my go to breed. They're also beautiful. I really would love a red and white one, rough coated (I'm a long haired dog persona all the way!) and with prick ears.

2. Australian Shepherd. I haven't met one I didn't adore. They're beautiful, soft, and I love their intelligence and athleticism. My only sadness is that most of them here don't have tails and I LOVE a nice long plumed tail!

3. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I love retrievers, but Tollers are the size that I would want. They're also beautiful and while I haven't met one, I love what I've read about them. I think they'd be a good match.

4. Hungarian Puli. Besides the fact that they're about the coolest looking dog ever (seriously, with those cords they're just really interesting looking dogs), my partner had a puli mix (with Samoyed -- yes that should be illegal!) and he loved the puli humor.

5. Papillon. I'm generally a medium sized dog type of person, but Papillons have been on my list for ages. They're adorable. I love their ears. And they're smart and make great agility dogs.
