So I cooked the asparagus, which was enough for four of us, served it up and now I feel a bit yuk.
I love asparagus too.

I've had to fence off my asparagus bed because Frodo-the-canine-eating-machine used to go and bite off every spear as it emerged. The only ill effects he had was green poo...and lots of it! Not sure if it makes their wee smelly like it does with humans....
