Archie puked!!

Just before I gave him his dinner Archie was sick on the kitchen floor

Straight afterwards he was yapping for his food so I gave it to him..

I rag the vets and they said this wasnt such a good idea, but so far the food has stayed down, and he's being playful...

What could have caused this? could it have been the chew I gave him earlier? I'm worried

Probably nothing to worry about. It could have been the chew or, as Lel said, simply over-excitement. What did he bring up? It is a good idea to withhold food after vomiting and then to feed something very bland for the next couple of meals.

well he wasn't that excited cos he had just woken up..

It's a bit disgusting but I put a plastic bag over my hand and felt it in case there was anything dodgy in there, but there wasn't. There was just his lunch, a couple of dead leaves and some bits of grass LOL he munched all those in the garden.

My sis thought it might have been the grass, but he's been eating grass since he got here and has never puked.

He is fine now, we were at a friend's house and he was normal, kept his dinner down and was playful. Hopefully he'll be ok then phew!

sometimes bruno is sick after his breakfast - probably cos he wolfes it down in a bout 3 secs flat and it has an urge to make its way back up - and guaranteed it always happens on the carpet never on the laminate or the tiles !!

Wouldnt worry about it unless it happens more than once..

whenever my dogs eat grass they puke afterwards - I read some where that dogs do this to clear their stomachs out - not sure myself though for the reasons behind it

I dunno, he always eats grass and this is the first time he has puked...

Well he was fine afterwards anyway, kept his dinner down and was normal, and this morning ate his breakfas like he had never eatenm before
