I need a dog guard?

Can anyone recommend a good strong universal guard for the back of the car. I really do need to keep Bruce restrained. I drive a Renault Scenic.
It needs to be strong!

I do not know any good universal ones I'm afraid - but I know certain companies make model specific ones - I know they can be expensive - but try looking on Agility net flea market - they often have bits and bobs like that

The best dog guards are those made specifically for a vehicle model as they are either bolted in or attached via the headrests.

The ones which use tension to maintain the position are worse than useless as they can be easily dislodged by boisterous dogs and will NOT stay in place if hit by a large dog in a collision and thus you risk being injured by both dog and guard and the dog of course could go through the windscreen.

Companies such as:

Barnesbrook (silent traveller_
Barjo
Guardsman
MMG

etc often hold popular models in stock and can post to you.

If you want a bargain you may be lucky on Ebay

Another place to try for second hand guards is the Agilitynet website in their fleamarket section
