EBAY MEMBERS

Had a email from what we thought was ebay asking us to update our account and saying if we did not answer within 24 hours our account would be closed.OH tried to get in through the link, but fortunately couldn't get it to work so emailed ebay to tell them he couldn't do it. They replied that ebay NEVER ask their customers to update bank account details and that we were lucky the link didn't work as it is a scam to get your bank account details so they can be used by theives. JUst to let you know if you get one of these emails to delete it immediately and DO NOT click on the link.

I got an email from ebay about that scam. Fortunately the account that it was trying to get us to update was an account that we asked eBay to suspend cos someone was using it without our knowledge so we knew it wasn't from eBay.

I'll keep any eye out for the email just in case. Thanx Mand

I buy and sell on e-bay, never had any problems as of yet, if you do get any e-mails asking you to update you know it's a scam, e-bay do say they NEVER ask for these details by e-mail.

I did actually receive that one last month, I just deleted it.
