Would you like to be part of the solution?

And help create it?

Why leave it to the government and others? Who says *we* can't come up with possible solutions? After all - we are 'dog lovers', probably with far greater awareness of issues than others.

As an experiment, I'm thinking about creating a new private section for a group of us who want to try and get our heads together to:
  • Identify problems in the dog world
  • Come up with possible solutions

The group will be focused on UK issues as that's where most of us are, and we need to narrow it down anyway (but anyone from anywhere is welcome to help and be part of the group).

We will just go with the flow and see how things go, I don't think we need anyone in 'control' of it - as I feel our purpose isn't really to come up with a final solution that we recommend the govt takes, but come up with numerous solutions and perhaps just put forward the three we vote as best.

Maybe we'll make the section public later - so others can see what and how we came up with what we do, and/or let anyone and everyone then comment. But to begin with, we want a focused group who want to sit down and try to work things out.

So who's up for it?

I'm in!

I'm up for it, but I do think someone needs to chair the discussion

Sounds like a fascinating and possibly worthwhile project. Not sure about the quality of my contributions, but am very interested.

Awesome stuff!

Now, we just gotta think of a name...

Dogsey Task Force - DTF?
Dogsey Advisory Council - DAC?
Dogsey Member Council - DMC?
Dogsey Canine Council - DCC?
Government of Dogsey - GOD

Actually, we can come up with one later - keep everyone else guessing for now
