I hope so too natalie, we have been through so many names for our Affix's but none stick for long, this one seems to be sticking. Will be waiting patiently now. Read on KC site that they aim to do this in 10 days now, can't see it myself lol we'll see huh

Hi,
Hope you get your choice.
Our first choice was "Shaloca" cos it was an amalgamation of the first part of our first names (Shaun, Lorraine and Callum) we didn't get it though cos someone had registered SHALANKA and we were told that the two names were too similar.
I got my next choice though which was MARETERRAM. It comes from the the Royal Marines corps motto...Per Mare, Per Terram. The OH was in the RMs for 18 years and it seemed appropriate, plus there is an unending supply of Corps related names for when it comes to naming pups

I did all the application stuff on the internet on the Kennel Club website and I had my Affix Certificate thru the post in about 7 days. I had to wait about 4 weeks from the publishing date of the Kennel gazette before using the Affix though, in case someone objected to the name and I had to return all the documentation pertaining to Mareterram.
Lorraine

It will be the icing on the cake for me, i have been wanting this for so long now. I'm also hoping to get the domain name ******Staff.co.uk so i can build my proper website!! *sigh* i'm full of dreams guys lol
