Wow chilly Wednesday 18th January 2023

Morning all. Yep it is a bit chilly down here. Hard frost over night. I decided that I would leave the temp on 18.5 and yep it did come on sometime over night but it has made all the difference to the temp in here. I also know that when the sun comes up the boiler won't come on as it is a south facing room. I also slept better, now is that because it stayed warm or because I was tired from no sleep the night before? My excitement for the day is Tesco coming and maybe Margaret. I never know until she is on that ellusive bus. Hope so as planning a small chinese eatable as I won't be seeing her on the actual chinese new year day. Have a good one everyone.

Good morning Brenda. Hope Margaret makes it to you today. I expect the good sleep was down to both, being warmer and over tired.

Very cold here again this morning on my journey over for the school run but at least the roads are not flooded now. Have the afternoon off but waiting for instructions for tomorrow and Friday morning. Will have the two afternoon runs but they are not so cold then.

Take care everyone

Good afternoon all

We bought a TV for Gary (50" as he's been struggling to read the subtitles and they are much bigger now). Paid an extra £50 for installation which was a big mistake. Every time he turned to Sky, Netflix would jump in and the same thing happened all the time with different channels.

So two hours this afternoon while we got it sorted. We both went because Dave knows the techie stuff, but once he's down on the floor, he needs help getting up again which is where I came in.

The TV is great, but it's been very frustrating to say the least

Blooming freezing here today. Frost looked like snow had fallen

Not much else going on. Cut Dave's hair, cleaned up the scooters, but that's been about it

Evening all
Sue, pleased the weather was a bit better for you today
Brenda, I hope Margaret made it
Chris, what a nightmare! I don't envy you at all as that's my job in our house.
Picked up my uncles new sandwich toaster, came back and chopped the salad ready for dinner, looked for carrots as I wanted to do stew too...only 3 left, had to pop to Asda and bought some veggie burgers too so did those in the air fryer. Have now made vegetable stew and sausage stew for dad and Steve, dad can heat his up himself.....I am getting a bit fed up of having to do him food all the time, he could easily make an omelette. ... anyway, it's all done now and Friday he can sort himself out
