Sky's stitches & results - lump that was removed is def another tumour

Sky gets her stitches out tonight, she had her op a week past friday.........

The lump that was removed is def another tumour, the good news is however that it is still a grade 2, therefore it has not progressed to the worse stage yet....so we are being very positive and looking forward.

We are going to speak to the vet tonight to see if we can start her on some stuff for her arthritis....she is getting a bit stiff when we let her run aroung ( not that she has been allowed to do that this week).....and she has lost 1 .5 Lbs...yeeehaaaaa!

well done sky and Karen. Glad that the tumour wasnt a real bad one and that she is doing as well as they expect. Try Metacam for the athritis and glucosamine supplements in her food.

Have you contacted hydrotherapy yet ?

Hi Dani,

We are talking to the vet about that tonight, he said to wait and see what the results were from the lab, before we talked about it......i think he was a bit worried........she is a bit "down" just now and i think it cause she is a bit sore, she is kinda stiff when she gets off the suite and off the bed...so hopefully metacam and supplements will help her...........cause she usually so full of beans!
I think her stitches are also bothering her, but they will out tonight

Poor wee Sky . it must be painful and tender around the wound area.

Hope she feels better soon, very glad the tumour is out and she is progressing well.

Barney had/has arthritis and I found metacam & cod liver oil did help him. I even think the cod liver oil made his coat gleam. Best of luck, thinking of you.
