Baldy Undercarriage SBT (hairless chest, belly & thighs - is this normal?)

My rescue SBT, Danny Bear, is almost completely bald underneath. His chest and belly are virtually bald and his inner thighs are smooth as the preverbial baby's botty. He's not red or sore, perfectly smooth and happy looking. Just wondered if this is a common SBT thing? Danny is my first SBT

Was a bit concerned it wasn't normal and needed to see the Vet. My greyhound was like that but I wasn't sure if SBT's had bald bits too Thanks!! I'll have to lean to knit so I can make him a wooly baby grow LOL

alot of dogs have finer fur underneath...I rekon most all SBT's would be the same as yours

My dogs have loads of fur underneath compared to most breeds but even then it is still a bit thiner than on the rest of their body, especially just around the little arm pits...lol

Lol if only it could be said the same for us ladies! Would save a fortune! LOL

Not that I think women with hairy bellies are unusual of course! I used to have a very hairy female friend.
