Well wished I lived there. The beach close to me has a birdreservation, so dogs are not allowed most of the year.

aww sorry jeanette

its such a shame beaches ban dogs, its just dog owners that dont pick up after their dogs that ruin it for us!

bird reservation cant be helped, but fouling can!

On that website it says that dogs are banned on the beach I take Teagan on, and a lot of other people take their dogs on!!
Even the people who live across the road from the beach walk their dogs there!

I've never been stopped, and theres loads of poo bins

Some of the beaches in South Wales are open to dogs all the year round one called Pendine (sp) beach is 7 miles long but they do not have any poo bins so most owners take some plastic bags and clean up after their dogs.

It says the beaches Gizmo and his friends go on (St Annes north and Blackpool South) ban dogs as well. Many, many people takes their dogs on the beach there - even the local dog walker. I checked the councils websites and dogs aren't banned on those sections of either beaches, so I don't think that site is particularly accurate, thank goodness cos I wouldn't want to tell Giz he couldn't run on the beach and sandhills anymore
