Well behaved Jas.......

for once

Took Jas for a nice walk and run about today and was very pleased with him. We had to stop dog training classes a few weeks back cos he get's stressed around young pups but we've been practicing wot we have already been taught.

Jas will now automatically sit and wait for me to open the gate and go out first then he follows. The other thing we have been practicing is his sit and wait at the edge of a road. Today he did it automatically. As soon as I said 'Road, wait' he plonked his bottom down and didn't move till I told him to :smt026

In my opinion you can teach an old dog new tricks

What a good boy. Hope it doesn't mean he's growing up - it's far too early for that!

Well done Staffy & Jas. I'm so pleased that you are keeping up the training. I know it can be hard to get motivated sometimes when you are not in a formal training situation. Good work

Thanx guy's. I'm sooo proud of my boy and if it wasn't for all of you on DW I'd have given up on him a longtime ago and would have resigned myself to the fact that he was just gonna constantly pull my arms out of their sockets
