Morning - Dogsey Daily Thread- Monday

Morning all Dogsey Peops

I must have missed loads on here over the last few days, but I'm trying to keep up when I can, and so, so sorryI missed your birthday celebrations yesterday Bev, so a Belated Happy Birthday from me

Lynn, I hope Dillon's paw is healing well and I expect you're back at the vets today for another check up maybe, and hopefully, they're already queueing up at your door for viewings! Much as you try to get them to do them all on the same day, that never happens and it's always "can we come in about an hour?" so you don't want it raining for obvious reasons with Dillon! Let's hope it goes quickly and you won't have to do it all for a whole year like we did, drove me nuts.

Bitkin, I hope Jimmi's paw has all calmed down again with that suspected abcess.

The usual hear to do, lots of bangings coming from the lounge, but Dave thinks he'll actually be finished for his part today until the plasterer comes next week-end, so there's no point yet putting it all back together. Feels odd, living in my bedroom to watch tv, feels like we're living in a bedsit which brings back memories Four homes now, and we're living like this

Today I am going up to Van 2 with lots of bedding to pretty the bedrooms up and take the pics for the website. The lounge is nearly there, except for the new rug which I keep changing my mind about, so they haven't sent it off yet. Once these new pics are up, I'm sure it'll gain more interest (I hope! ) I want those trees to hurry up and leaf out cos the views will be something else and I can get some pics of that.

Off up the top with Zena for a long walk this morning, it's not sunny, but at least it's dry, and enjoy your day everyone Hope the sun is shining for you and you can send some over here please, especially you Pat

Morning H and all

I have also missed loads on Dogsey, I am still having problems with my internet connection. I have to grab the chance when it's working. My ISP has checked and said it had gone down 30 times in one day.

I have been busy this weekend, I attended a seminar on Saturday for Conformation and movement then took the hands on assessment in the afternoon. It was lovely to meet people from other breeds. I am going to do the conformation and movement later in the year as it's another speaker.

Yesterday I worked all day and managed to meet quite a few puppies out socialising, I met a particularly lovely 5 month staffie who was very enthusiastic with his greeting!

Isn't it great to see the sun for a change. I have to take my cousin for a hospital appointment today, then back tomorrow and on Friday I have an appointment for myself and back with my cousin next Monday, why do they all come at once!

Enjoy your walk H, I am looking forward to seeing your new pics of the van.

Have a good day all.

Morning H and all,

After a fabulous day yesterday it is unfortunatly back to reality today .
I have a busy morning, but as I am off work this week I may just have a very lazy afternoon with lots of Lily cuddles on the sofa and recharge my batteries after yesterday. I hate trying to plan a few lazy hours though as something always crops up.
I can't wait to see some leaves on the trees too H. They are so late this year after all the cold weather. We are a week into April now and the trees are still looking bare, normally end of Feb beginning of March and the trees are fully leafed and birds nesting. I have never known it this late.

Lynn I hope Dillons paw is improving well and the vet is pleased with it.

Sally I hope little Jimmi's paw is also improving.

Hope you all have a good day and are well.

Morning Gerry, and nice to see you back again Looks like you've got a busy week like I have, but thankfully, mine doesn't involve any hospitals. Good luck with your cousin and yourself at your appointments this week, it's always a worry isn't it.

Morning Bev, and so, so sorry I didn't wish you Happy Birthday yesterday but glad to hear you've got such a lovely, relaxing week planned, let's hope all stays well with your own health and Lily and you can enjoy the time off. Yes, everything is late coming out, and I worry about the birds cos I just don't see them atm, unless they're busy sitting on their nests.

Today is Yom HaZikaron laShoah ve-laG'vurah [יום הזיכרון לשואה ולגבורה; "Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day"] so the sirens will be sounding at 10am for the two minutes' silence and everything will come to a full stop [except for Da Booger who will run outside to see what is happening, same as she always does when the Alert siren howls]. No entertainment programmes on television, just talk - and solemn music on the radio.

Anyhow, I got the Monday Steam Mop reminder in first thing and as it is nearly 10am I will be back in a while.

Morning everyone, hope you and your furries are all well, or at least on the mend.
Snow in inverness again this morning, getting pretty tired of it now!
Will wait a bit till we go for our walk up the woods I think.
Going to have a chill out week, Hubby has gone off to Campbeltown to do a bit more repair work after the Arran power cuts.
I'm on count down days now, heading to Glasgow to have an op to try and fix my wrist on Monday next week.
Have a good day

Morning Helena and all.
Another lie-in here. I did sofa duty last night and had a wake up call with licking at 1.20am and again at 5.30 he did stop pretty quick and I think the paw is looking a lot better.
Vet appointment 5.40pm tomorrow I think she will be pleased hope so anyway it has been blood sweat and tears here.
Twisted my knee in the downstairs bathroom early hours and am now finding it difficult to walk which is a nuisance as I was hoping to visit mum today and have bought flowers for dads grave as it is his birthday Wednesday and I can do that while over visiting mum as it is on the way.

Helena good luck with the van no.2 today and the photos and living in the bedroom.
Gerri nice to see you back. That's a lot of hospital appointments this week I hope they all go well.
Bev enjoy your week off and hopefully you will get some
time to relax.
Malka. I hope you have a peaceful day.

Morning Helena and fellow members,

Firstly : Jackie - I hope Millie has improved and you had a better night with her. Everything crossed for her at the vets today. I thought about you both when I was awake during the night and wandered how she is. Good luck.xx

Helena - Hopefully today will be a fun day 'tarting-up' the new van and taking photos. Is Dave hoping to get your living room sorted before going off to work this week? Enjoy your Zena walk.

Lynn - Sorry you've managed to twist your knee Remember I.C.E. (ice, compression and elevation). Great news that Dillon's paw is still improving.

skjerstad- you poor thing still having snow I expect you'll have a busy week getting everything sorted before your op. Good luck.

Moet - Nice to see you back.

Malka - So ear-plugs for 10.00 then

Well overcast and a chilly wind here now but no sun . Do you reckon the weather over the weekend was our Spring Just housework, dog walking and shopping today. See you all later.
