Wednesday 14th February 2024

Morning all. Raining again. Hope you all find some dry bits during the day. Chris this might improve Ted's eating? Have a good day everyone. Word for today: Amole, no not a mole, Amole.

Mornin' Brenda

Dry and overcast so far. but doesn't look too promising

I'm hoping it does improve his appetite Brenda, but only time will tell. He was very restless up to 5 am but then slept and is fine this morning thank heavens.

Getting the suit on and off for him to go for a wee is strange. Bless him, he's being so patient with it though

Different then to wearing a bucket or one of those things round the neck. I expect the restless bit was probably a bit of pain after the op. Maybe use some arnica tablets for bruising. They can be taken orally.

Morning brenda, Chris and all to follow.
Overcast here today. Popping round to see Bev and Boo later she was coming here but now has to wait in for a parcel.

I will say good morning for tomorrow as we leave early tomorrow to get to Bridlington where we are staying overnight for Pete's funeral Friday.
I am sure I will get some to pop on and say hello at some point tomorrow.

Chris glad to read Ted is recovering well, sometimes the anaesthetic can cause them to whine and cry too while it's getting out of their system.
brenda enjoy your lunch with Margaret.
Sue I hope you're enjoying your time off from the school run.
Griff I hope Steve has made that appointment.
Kazz I hope the shoulder is still improving.

Yay we came home and he ate 30 gms (half his daily rations) of chicken breast which, fortunately, I'd put his liquid painkiller in.

Brenda, I can't get him to take tablets no matter how crushed up or what food I put them in. I'm shocked we actually managed to get the Metacam down him today

It was just a scooter ride for him this morning and a sit on my knee at the cafe. He did get two wee stops and a very, very short walk as per vets instructions

I woke up today with a very painful frozen shoulder, combines with a covid jap by someone who should not be let loose to give injections. That was given months ago and still painful. One look out the window at the rain and makes one think back to bed is not a bad idea.

It needs to dry up so we can get that bush stump out and see how much earth is needed to fill in the hole.

Sounds like they might have trapped a nerve Barry. Try rotating the shoulder with a warm hot water bottle held on it. Chris you can get liquid form arnica. You can always wet the tablets to put in the food. Does he like tea? You could put the tablets in that. I know I am useless but always keep trying to help.
